Great day with Patrick and the “Davita Justice League” climbing Mt. Evans. Ironically the climb up was the best part of the day. We started at Echo Lake and the weather was beautiful the whole way up. It’s actually not that bad of a climb. The downhill is another story. Worst part of the day. Thunderstorms (and snow) rolled in. We ended up bailed at one of the shelters about halfway down and Patrick raced back to get the car and we drove the rest of the way down. Full suspension and disc brakes would have been nice. Otherwise it was a great experience!
